![]() ![]() The game has so much music, and there are so many more great tracks out there, so I’m looking forward to seeing what catches your ear. Meet the storied Warlords who wrote the history of two worlds, and stand against their endless lust for conquest. Travel back in time (and to an alternate reality) to see Draenor as the unbroken, beautiful, but savage world it once was. Taking to the skies for the first time with your little buddy is a triumphant moment punctuated perfectly with this exciting track. In Pandaria, you’re given the opportunity to raise your own Cloud Serpent from an egg and, over time, train it to become the fastest dragon to ever compete in the dragon racing tournament. In the days leading up to the Cataclysm, the silly little goblins of Kezan were going about their ridiculous lives, oblivious to the world-shattering devastation that would soon be unleashed upon the world. The hard-fought battle against The Lich King was won, but the victory was bittersweet. This track made me very verklempt the first time I heard it, and it still gets me. An emotionally-charged, epic farewell to an amazing character. Ribbons of free-flowing energy rip through the sky, the land itself torn asunder and floating above a bottomless rift in the space-time continuum, demons surrounding you. An army of massive demons assaulted the gate, trying to break into our world, but held back at the steps by both the Horde and Alliance in an uneasy truce to defend Azeroth. Going back beyond The Dark Portal and discovering the broken world of Draenor was quite a sight. Little else can compare to this epic introduction to the big, bustling city, making you feel small as you pass by the heroic statues flanking the wide, stone drawbridge, the battlements towering over you, its banners flapping in the cool breeze. I figured I’d try to pick only one from each expansion and also try to mix up the tempo. The towers + shamans/doctors unit mix also works well in missions 6 and 8 when you add in a couple taurens. The music in World of Warcraft is my all-time favorite, and so since you said you haven’t played the game, I was moved to make a few suggestions, if you don’t mind. Then go find the pool.Īs a general rule in the campaigns, the key to success is 1) building lots of towers and 2)as soon as you see an expansion, take it and secure it with towers. Repeat the process until the enemy towns can't produce attackers any more. Replace any casualties, then go attack another town. You won't be able to clear the entire town before Cen and his annoying bodyguard charges in - at that point, run for home. If at all possible, take out the Trees of Life and the Ancients of War - you can then leave the rest of the buildings pretty much alone (unless you're a pissed off vindictive bastard like me). Have the melee group and catapults attack the same building, while the hero/magic group causes random havoc. Warcraft 3 orc how to#Here's how to do it (note that you'll probably end up building four or five entire armies unless you're really good at microing).īuild up a large force (raiders are good for this, since they're good against buildings) - I usually had one entire group of magic-users (plus the hero), one group of melee'rs (mostly raiders) plus one kodo beast, and a group of two or three catapults.Īttack a town. My first time through the level, I didn't discover the path that leads to the pool at first. Oh, you can definitely kill the towns before you hit the pool. ![]()
